Clinical Focus
I am a late-diagnosed, multiply neurodivergent naturopathic doctor, and a partner and parent with multiply neurodivergent family members. My passion is working with the latest research in brain and nervous system science, epigenetics, and brain biochemistry to help you improve your health and quality of life in the areas where you feel stuck.
I work with patients experiencing chronic issues with digestion, perimenopause and menopause, thyroid imbalance, menstruation, anxiety and/or depression, chronic pain, hypermobility, exhaustion, and burnout. I can provide resources and clinical support whether these are stand-alone issues or are co-occurring with autism, ADHD, PDA, or other forms of neurodivergence.
I have focused training, lived and clinical experience, and a special interest in Nutritional Biochemistry therapy for optimizing mental and physical health, as well as ADHD, autism, and PDA—particularly late diagnosis. I feel I can best support adults and teens who are experiencing or wondering about any of these issues, parents, caregivers, and family members walking this same path with their loved ones, and anyone curious about exploring these areas of health.
I welcome and celebrate every person of every neurotype, and every family in every form. Diversity, inclusion, equity, and anti-ableism are grounding principles of my work that deeply matter to me.
I am passionate about meeting patients where they are at and building a connection using a practical, nervous-system-based approach. I want you to feel seen, heard, and safe in our work together. Your needs deserve to be voiced, met, and accommodated without judgement, and realistic expectations for our work together should be mutually agreed upon.
I want to end our visit with a clear plan and/or starting points that you feel ownership over, summarized in a way that makes sense to you. Our work should operate on a timeline that works for you and your daily life, and address the areas of health that matter to you.
I also recognize that healthcare is not a politically neutral system. Accessing healthcare can be unsafe for patients with intersecting identities within various marginalized communities, and for those with previous traumatic medical experiences. I aim to provide a safe and inclusive space where you can ask questions, share your health concerns, and share your own story and lived reality without the fear of dismissal or medical gaslighting.
I am committed to consistently and actively learning about how my lived experience, culture, and areas of privilege inherently shape my clinical practice, my perspective, and the clinical space I create. I am constantly learning, and I am open to feedback if a concern arises. I am also committed to doing the work of repair when it is needed.
